I think you misunderstood. It is due to the resins chemical make up that produces the attributes in a resin we look for. I just supplied DK's specs to show this. I would think most top brands of resins use similar compound bases in there line of resins, so more than likely resins with in the same brand would react well together, maybe even brand to brand. Your manufacturer could answer this with more fact though. I don't think they will tell you to use there resin with another company though.
