chips so when you retire you wont try to sell your business rather you just walk away after all the the time and effort to build it?
guy wants to buy an existing proven performer business and hit the ground running who in his right mind would say this is a bad thing? most businesses fail in the first year plain and simple fact I would have gladdly bought a business that was a success rather than spend the years building and making mistakes along the way who wouldnt? hey sure I got there anyway but most dont

Glassstarz..if you read my post i did sell my business that i put 20 yrs into..and we are all intitled to our opinions..and yes it is nice to have ready made customers..but sometimes franchises put a lot of control over you..for example a paint franchise that i had changed formula on tints and i had to buy new set or be dropped and a couple of yrs later did the same thing like 1500.00 a set.. then for the privelage of using their name and products they wanted 500.00 a yr for it .the list can go on..can delf388 add other services without paying them?? if they add services is he required to buy whether he wants to or not?? is he locjed into price structure?? and what price for this venture?? fleet wants 60,000.00 for their franchise thats a lot of wr to make up investment

I don't think he can or would just sell the customer list. There have been some good questions for me to find out as far the restrictions of the franchise and I will get them all answered very soon. FYI I am not anywhere close to paying $60,000.00 for this business. I meet again tomorrow with the owner he is going to demonstrate different WR on some windshields. I really believe this is a good opportunity for me mainly because of the customer base and if the franchise is something I can live with then I may just pull the trigger on this thing. Everyone here so far has had some good thoughts and suggestions, hope to learn from this place.
