I understand that you heat the windshield to remove moisture and warm the windshield and that you normally do that from the outside.
What I am referring to is when you have a stubborn leg on a chip which normally would be aided in filling by applying heat from the inside of the windshield for a brief period and then flexing the break , but since there is a tinted vinyl film applied to the inside of the windshield you cannot do that.
This is not a moisture removal question or a question about how to warm a windshield so that you can begin to work on it.
Anyway I already repaired the windshield. The customer was delighted.
