Maxryde,
WOW, what a post. I agree completely. Trust me when I say they have had lawyers comb over every word that they say to just barely comply with the law. Its all on how they can use a pitch to turn the customer to their side using scetchy tactics. The problem is, Safelite has been sued over this on more then one occasion. Yet they havn't lost a case yet. This is the problem. This is one of the reasons I don't do insurance anymore. Even though I was on the list before. I got tired of dealing with them. I can't wait for the day the Networks are gone.

I especially like the insurance co's way of backing the TPA with language like "approval"

A long time ago I needed that from my mother,

those days are gone!! LOL

Oh and good to see you on here too David, your posts here are a value buddy!!

Yes, I agree steering and stealing of jobs does happen. I've had Safelite do it to me, including showing up at my customers house the day before our scheduled appointment and doing the job.

My point was, not all referrals from agents are steering. Not all agents accept gifts. And some agents do the right thing for their customers and do it the right way. I always here negatives about agents and agent referrals, and it's not always what it seems from the outside.
