business is competative and you need to look at the buying decision from the customers viewpoint. Here are there 2 options :get the job done and pay nothing and have no hassle or :have to pay it first and reclaim it back from the insurance company. what are they most likely to do? If you are not offering a direct billing facility then you may not have the luxury of competing for the job on the same footing as your competitors. You will get jobs but only when the customer has a really strong reason for using you over and above some other supplier. When you are competing on equal footing such as a yellow pages call then you have lost one key reason for them to use you which would normally over ride other factors that we in the industry would see as more important like quality. Paper shuffling and waiting is the price paid for competing on equal footing with the big boys.
