I used some Premium for the first time a few days ago, I would compare its thinness to Poly Lite's 25. I use their 200 as my all-purpose...

Based on this forum, I would like ot try some magnabond...

[quote]I certainly can understand you mindset on resin application. Okay, the differences between the two DK resins PB & MB are very small with MB being a little stronger, thicker, less acid etc, etc(see below). I have used both in all applications except long crack repair(12" and up as I do not do this) and have had very good success. DK could ship MB in a PB bottle and visa versa and I do not think anyone would know the difference during a repair they are so close.(I am not suggesting that they do this). It seems like MB was created to be a new and improved version of the PB.

Now, keeping with your thought that a thicker resin would be better suited for certain breaks such as bulls then why not look at DK Pro Bond 40 or 60. Then use MB or PB on the stars and you are covered based on your needs.

Honestly there are some real good resins out there and DK is right there at the front of the pack with the rest.

Yeah, what about acid? Do resins with strong acidic odors bond better than their fair smelling competitors?

Hi Shepard: Do you use poly-lites long crack resin ?? and if so how is it lasting ??I use some poly lite resins but I am concerned about longevity.I have heard some negative feed back on the forums concerning poly-lite resins.

I found that their CF (Crack filler) is sooo thin it is not of much use, but for cracks I use their 200... I have had bad luck, but I don't blame their resin. I have been learning from this forum that crack repair-excellence is not normally achieved until a few years experience, which I don't have... I think my technique is to blame. I love poly lite's products for stars and Bulls though...
