Well, today everything is back to normal, so perhaps my stars lined up!:eusa_ange

There are a few bad days now & again, but the good days are SO plentifull!...why... if I had $60 for every repair that went well.... oh yeah, I do! :eusa_clap

Hmmmm .... it happened again.... simple stuff.... resin just wouldn't fill.... this happen on 5-22-07 .... hmmm better on 5-23, but still not like 99% of my days....:eusa_booh

thats when you tear down the equipment and clean everything and replace seals.They might be losing pressure hot seals are soft and allow leaks more than cold tight ones?

Not sure Glasstarz is right but it's a starting point. Not knowing what equipment your using, it should always be cleaned and inspected daily if not at least weekly.


When your having problems, could you be a little more specific on damage your working on? That might help some of us help you!

Thanks all, it is time for a good cleaning... I HAVE been negligent... thanks for the nudge...

Today however I was back to normal, 15 repairs with no problems...:eusa_danc I don't get it. On days like Tues & Wed I just can't get any repairs to work ... even simple bullseyes with no moisture still have a little ring around the top (trapped air) after the normal repair time and another 15 minutes...

I am using CAT Bridges sold by POLYLITE and manufactured by Glassmagician ... same with my aluminum injectors ... I use some POLYLITE resin and some Glass Magician resin ... typically works really well ... maybe it is just a negative attitude that snowballs... I don't think I am a negative pessimist, but with my luck I probably am! ;):eusa_booh

I tried a local car dealer's DK spring-loaded injector in a DK bridge a few months ago and I have used circa 1980 Novus bridges and I have tried a high$$$$ automatic vacuum rip-off device ... so far I consistently do best with my CAT stuff ... so I hesitate to blame equipment of those 1 in 100 days...

That leaves, SKILL (based on training and experience) ATMOSPHERE, RESIN, STATE OF MIND.... The only one of these that I don't see as being a constant is the atmosphere & my state of mind... but I don't wake up on the wrong side of the bed on my bad days... so that leaves barometric pressure... right? ;)

Thanks again for your kind and encouraging words a few years ago, your response was very much appreciated! I have a fairly thick skin in most regards, but on a down day/week when looking for good advice and getting harsh responses from those I was trying to look up to? Well, your response was/is appreciated! :) It is now 8000 repairs later and I still have some bad days/weeks, but most days are great! :)
