I also agree with GlassWeldTech & GlassStarz. If you do not have anything worthwhile to contribute, DONT! You seem to think people find your posts funny. In reality, it is not your stupid off base humor were laughing at, it is YOU we are laughing at.

It is becuase of people like you that give this educational source a bad reputation and worse potentially damage this industry through new tech that do not realize you are a joke.. I can tell you, I personally have stopped seeking or offering advice here as much as I used too becuase of a few bad apples like yourself. Sure the forum wont stop with out me, but it starts with one and before you know it snowballs.

Others have been banned who actually had something to contribute, sometimes out of forum guidelines but nontheless had something to offer. You have slipped through the cracks for one reason or another.

WHY?

Absolutely enough. I think certain people need to read the Terms Of Service and read them well. The appropriate people have been warned via private messaging, and rest assured they will be banned if they continue to behave in this manner.

Due to some personal issues, I have not been able to keep watch over each post on the forum as quickly as I used to, but people who try to flaunt the rules will have their privileges revoked.

Final warning.

Now, back to the actual thread.

As a side note the temp needs to be at least 40f for it to dry evenly and you need to keep water off for at least an hour to allow it to dry properly. When its done it really does look like new without being greasy just plain plastic feel like nothing I have seen before

To summarize the steps:
1. Whipe clean with GR60.
2. White vinigar to neautralize.
3. Mask with painters tape.
4. Apply black if needed 2 coats, clear coat and let dry.
If black or another color is not needed do you apply 2 coats of clear and let dry or 1 coat? Just want to make sure I have the steps right. Would you recommend buying the kit or buy items seperate? How do you justify price? Lets say a tahoe that has running boards, black on front and rear bumper, mirrors, and door handles?
Thanks

the difference is dramatic a sample vehicle should get you in at a reasonable price start with the kit and then buy the stuff you need when you need it

GlassStarz,

Help me understand. One reservation I have is, Why would a car lot pay a vendor to do something that is done when the car is detailed? The detail guys at my lots usually prep all areas of the vehicle as that is what is expected. They use primaily use ARDEX products. What is the benefit for the dealership to pay another vendor to duplicate work. I would imagine the dealerships are only concerned with the car looking good for as long as it takes to move the metal.

Seems like a cheap enough add on with no real risk. Just curious how you sell it!

every dealer knows that when the car comes out of detail it looks fantastic several days on the lot and it looks worse than when you started the silicone based stuff collects dirt ,fades and you get run streaks from the rain.
The Trimonex is completly different than what the detail guy does and I have yet to find a dealership detail dept that uses it. The dealers see the sample you do and they buy its that simple night and day different than what they are used too this is a plastic recoat not a silicone shine product
