It's always been my understanding that air compresses while resin does not. So when you see that leg filling under pressure, what you have done is compressed the air making it look to have disapeared. As soon as you release pressure, compressed air will find its way out in the form of very small undetectible bubbles.
Basically that's why when your repairing a leg under pressure and your
left with a small tip, you know it's time to cycle back to vacuum. Need to let air out.
I think if you utilized a good magnifying glass from the inside you would see that process taking place. JMHO.
