Chris,

We have a Novas tent guy in my area that's been working a local trade center here for over 12 years (3 days a week) When I asked him how things are going, he said great! He averages between $1800-$2200 every weekend on repairs spring through fall. He doesn't work winter at all and is very happy with what he gets here in Michigan.

I've thought about setting up next to him but with him having 12 years in, I'd probably only get a small slice of the pie starting out. What would others do in my situation?

Interesting story AGSS, but I don't buy it at all. I also work Saturdays, keep a full schedule and have never worked from a fixed location a single day.

And as for a Novus tent guy....well I find that hard to believe too. $1,800 to $2,200 on a weekend, huh? So I'm guessing he must do around 36 to 44 jobs per weekend? Man, that dude must be good! Never heard of a Novus tech. who operated under a tent either.

I work outof my RV Motorhome , have airco , fridge and can work on my laptop when I have no cleints.
If someone pulls up , I have him park under the awning and proceed to do my repair.

Have not followed up Splitpit's suggestion to sell popsickels also , but if business slacks down I always have that possibility .LOL

It doesnt really matter what you think, she (the lynx rep) has the stats. She knows who is selling the work and is willing to bet her families future on it!
