Close. It was a lubricated cutting wheel which deposited its oil straight into the crack! It just made me wonder how good the testing actually was if they could have made the same fundamental mistake without noticing many times over. We were not the first company tested either so presumably all the others before us repaired cracks contaminated with oil and passed! The thing that makes me laugh about a lot of the tests is that no one actually does a test on an unrepaired bit of glass, i have a theory that that may well pass some of the tests without anything being done to it, but then that would put paid to a nice testing gravy train wouldnt it;) Im sure a lot of the resins are much better now and that the gap has probably closed between the relative qualities and i would agree that TCGI are not as good as the old Keinath regime. After all their main income is from selling new glass after all. As using Novus resin gives me a usp in the market and also is a continuation of a trusted brand loyalty for many customers i have had no real need to try other resins. (but i do need to be aware of what is out there) However if i was an independant trader i would certainly consider Delta as everyone quite rates it (here certainly in the slightly captive market anyway)
