If the customer is ok with it, I use the cars heating system to warm the glass but I warm the interior, not the glass,i.e vents set into the car not on the windscreen(windshield), this ensures even, unstressful heating of all the glass up to work temperature, reducing crack out risk and improving resin flow.
Is a customer always right? - No, but they are always the customer.
