I have a friend in the wholesale auto parts business who is able to pass on some decent savings to me. I normally sell Silblade.

Anyone here do spray on bedliners? I hear the profit margins are high but most seem to be dealer/franchise type operations.

Do you find you often have ones that you can't sell because the demand is low for certain car models, or do you only stock blades for common models?

I do ws repairs and headlight restoration. My business card says I do glass scratch removal but I don't promote it because it's too time consuming and usually cost prohibited for the customer (could almost buy a new ws). I'm considering adding minor plate glass repair.

I think the big market for scratch removal is in the construction industry.

I have added into my business - Charging Auto AC sytems. You must be certified to do this but in the 3 weeks I have been doing it, it is very profitable. If there is a leak in the AC system I refer them to a local repair shop who in return refers all windshield repairable damage to me. So far it has been working out great!

That's an interesting add on Guelster.

Any chance you could share more info regarding certification and equipment start up cost?
