Thanks Brent, for letting me know who Graham is and telling me something about him. Then nick "screenman" i had already seen at one of the replies to my introduction to the forum. He was one of the people who welcomed me, but from his nick i couldnt tell it was him. Most definitely i will still have to find out more about who is who here and learn from the others who posted their contributions here. Think its very interesting (also to see how things go in other countries) and always a good thing to get new contacts. As for contacting Graham: all the help i can get is very welcome and very much appreciated of course, but right now i think its best to concentrate on the continuation of what i have been doing the past 7 years. For that i luckily already have the customers, the equipment and the experience (which doesnt mean im not willing to learn from the experience and knowledge of others btw...really didnt mean to sound arrogant or stubborn here). A good thing is that I also do have the support from a couple of my former GlasWeld-colleagues. All together that should do for now for a new start i think. If necessary however, i wont hesitate to contact someone like Graham and book a ticket for a trip to the U.K. From what you told me about him i think he can be quite a valuable contact!
As for the deals on e-bay: i will absolutely be careful! I usually am anyway when it is about purchasing something over the internet. Until now i only had good experiences with e-bay and "marktplaats" (a dutch site where you can find all kinda second hand stuff). I can imagine however that there is a lot that can go wrong with buying something. Perhaps this forum will be a better opportunity to buy something as specific as a windshield repair system. As i had excellent experiences with the GlasWeldsystem i would love to get another ProVac again (preferably the "2000"), so i will most definitely keep an eye open here to find one. In all honesty i must admit however that i dont know much about how other systems are. Guess that because i know the GlasWeld ProVacs i do want to stick to them instead of trying something else. But you never know, i might consider something different in the future.
