Cheapest ones I have seen are the red plastic ones from crackeraser.com,
these look real flimsy (almost disposable), but I would like to know if anybody is using them. Ive learned you can't always judge a book by it's cover.

Ever see those toy tools in the toy store that are modeled after a real tool set? Like a toy wordworking set with a little hammer and saw for the kids to play with? That is what that kit from crackeraser reminds me of. Like something we would get our kids for Christmas so they could pretend that they're fixing windshields with us.:eusa_danc

Great idea for a stocking stuffer...
You got to admit they do look interesting. For some reason I am morbidly curious about this kit. :eusa_liar Check out the instructional pages. Looks like they use bacon grease to lubricate the suction cups.

I spoke to a replacement technician a few weeks ago who uses a old school kit for repairs that uses resin syringes he buys from a well known industrial equipment catalog. When I showed him my Delta stuff he was like...."wow man this is so radical" I was shocked when he told me he has done hundreds of repairs using his old school low tech kit. His main focus is replacement so I can only assume he does not care too much about quality.
