Who did you contact to get set up for the LDO. I would like to get set up doing some work for the state.

Hi there, Trust me the state work ie DPW takes at least 60 days to pay. When I was starting in the Windshield Repair buisness I would cold call on a buisness when it would rain or snow a non work day ie on call.

I work for the state of Alabama and it does not take me 60 days to get paid.You should be able to go to the DOT( department of Trans) of your state and they can tell you what you need to do.It does take a long time to get your LDO setup.Mine runs out every Dec. and I start renewing in Oct. so that I will not have a lapse.The work is very spotty.You may run across some jerks that are over the shops and they will tell you that they will call you when they need you.I live in Bham,Al and there is a large DOT here and the guy says that he does it by a roatation but he is full of it.He is probably getting a kick back from another company and they get all his work.Dont depend on getting rich off of their work.

Hi there, when I was doing work for the state a few years ago it was a late payment- The kick back these glass shops give ie approx $25.00 happens a lot in the car buisness as well-What can you do when that happens??????????????????????????????????????????
