Hi Korey,
I have been twice at previous expos myself and used to like it -but I simply cannot bother going every year. How did you like the expo? Was it good? Were there any new developments that you want to share with us?

Frank,
Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the Expo but Bruce and Wade went. They expressed how much they enjoyed themselves so hopefully they will share their experiences with us.

Thanks for the kind words Gumball. Bruce and I had a great time!

It was great to see so many people at the Mobile Tech Expo this year. Kevin puts on a great show year after year. Friday's attendance was roughly 1,100 attendees, which seemed to be less than last year but everyone there seemed to know what they wanted. We are seeing a trend of less "tire kickers" at the shows.

We will post a recap of the show and our on the road training in an upcoming issue of The Wise Crack. So, if you aren't already subscribed to our electronic newsletter you should take a few moments, go to our homepage and subscribe.

Korey:

Are any more of the Mobile Tech Expos expected in 2009? How was the turnout? Can anyone provide feedback? Thanks.

Yeah, I could do with some feedback on this too. When I went there in previous years, it was worth the time and energy ie; interesting. Haven't been there this year myself but am interested in what was on display -and offer. ;)

After speaking with two of the sales executives who attended the expo they thought that the number of attendees seemed down from 2008 but still thought that this year’s turn-out was good. Bruce spoke with many of the attendees and got the impression that the majority of those in attendance were attending the expo to acquire ways on improving their business.

There were numerous vendors on hand exhibiting and demonstrating their products. For instance, he saw paint less dent repair, interior repair, and window tinting demonstrations just to name a few. He said “In my humble opinion, headlight restoration systems were the main attraction. Delta Kits unveiled its Headlight Restoration System and received positive feedback from various technicians. Headlight Restoration is becoming an option that many mobile technicians are considering.”
