Well I was concerned about there not being any good retail business in Orlando, but fleet service has been very easy for me in New Mexico. I use a great phone marketing plan that nets new accounts quickly. I have developed a discount pricing program that gives quantity insentives to fleets, but if they are not self insured and if they use insurance companies that are responsible to pay for replacements, then I might as well not even waste my time tring.
I'm not sure I know if fleet business = wholesale business or not.
If anyone knows about or is willing to share what they receive for fleet repairs that would help alot. I give 10 to 20 % depending on numbers of available vehicles within the companies. Some I give a flat rate per windshield up to 3 separate breaks on the same shield. :o

Most fleets that I have worked with over the years self insure. I can't help you on price as that is determined by the area and by how you run your business. I was always the highest price in my area, but also had the most fleets due to the quality of service and repairs that I offered. Although tempted, I never tried to compete on price when it came to windshield repairs as there was always someone willing to undercut my prices.
