The pressure cycle is first with subsequent vacuum cycles afterward.kenb81 wrote:Correct me if i'm i wrong . In the vid it looked like there was no vacuming but straight to the pressure cycle.
Is this the way deltas kits work?

When watching the video the Technician started the pressure cycle at the 20 second mark and he went into the vacuum cycle at the 38 second mark.

Re: Repairs in 5 minutes or less
I think some here take the 5 minute repair adverts too serious Its a way to get the customer to stop if you put up a sign that said 30 minute repairs you wuld get less than half the response. In our times of everyone in a hurry most have 5 minutes to spare while most don't think they have 30 minutes. Simple salesmanship once the customer lands will keep them there once you get the repair started you tell them this is a tough one its gonna take a little time to do it right. They wont argue because they want it done right just simple salesmanship
In every part of the business world there are adverts like this 10 minute lube 30 minute film processing 30 minute delivery common sense will tell you i might take longer
Its no different than the Free Repair banner for some its not free if you explain it the customer is cool but it put a customer in front of you that you might not have seen without it

Re: Repairs in 5 minutes or less
Another reason to re think the five minute time line is that you may be basing your completion time on what you see with your naked eye, which isn't the whole story.
If you put the repair under a microscope you will see hundreds of additional micro cracks and fissures that you cannot see with your eyes only. Taking extra time, even after you see the obvious breaks fill, will allow more fill into these very small breaks. Since they are very tight it takes a little longer to penetrate them.
The repairs will look better and the bond will be more complete and stronger.
Hope this is helpful.
