If the resin is cured the alcohol will not remove it from the stainless. I suppose it is possible that some resin will cure on the seal and later flake off, but I have not experienced that.
I recommend cleaning with air or denatured alcohol between each repair and always cleaning with DA if you will not be using the injector within a few minutes. I don't recommend leaving a Delta Kits injector in the alcohol as you do not want any alcohol in the injector when you begin your repair. You can wipe off the outside, but there may still be traces of alcohol on the inside that can contaminate the resin. It drives me nuts when I grab a repair system from the shop and find that one of my employees has left the injectors soaking in the resin, as I then have to blow it out very well before I can use it.
It's much better to rinse thoroughly in DA and then store separately in your closed tool box so the injector is clean and dry when you need to use it next. Remember to store injector parts upright and the plunger in the down (pressure) position. Doing so will keep your injector trouble free for many, many years.
One more thing to remember. The used alcohol should be properly disposed of at the end of each day, and Nitrile gloves should be used when cleaning your injector.
