No need for power.
Go to a RV dealer, they will have 12 Volt Hair Dryers.
We use the 12Volt HD ourselves, it works fine.

I like having a 12V hair dryer with me just in case, but have not found one that works as well as an AC model. If you are using an AC model a power inverter or portable generator are your best options depending on how far away from your vehicle you need to work.

The battery pack that Delta Kits sells for powering UV lights and moisture evaporators does not put out sufficient power to run a 12V hair dryer properly.

I posted this on Friday but apparently I accidently deleted it.

FrankEU just sent me an e-mail stating that the 12V hair dryer he uses reaches a temperature of 46 degrees Celsius, which I believe is about 105 degrees Fahrenheit. I have purchased several models that look almost identical but do not reach that temperature, but maybe I'm just unlucky or did not choose the right brand. 105 degrees is warm enough to do the job, so although I still prefer a wider variance of temperature control that many AC models offer, I think having one of these in your arsenal of tools is a great idea.

Frank also sent me a link to a site that claims to have a 200 degree model, so that might be one to check out as well. Since I have not used either of these models myself I am not endorsing them, but if interested you can run a Google search for the following items.

The last 12V hair dryer I purchased came from camping world and I did not like it much at all. I guess I'll have to try one of these.
