I agree with this statement. Being that it is not a priority, I feel that a sticker on the W/S would be more of an annoyance than a sales tool.

Plus, I also always leave a business card on the driver's seat with a thank you and this card can be placed in the glove box for future reference.

To each his own, my friend. Have a good day :D

Most folks forget about the stone chip in their windshield till it is to late. It is like the wiper blades, they do not think about them till they need them and they do not work right.

Most of you are saying the OIL change stickers are an annoyance also. With the miles I drive and all this things going on I use my OIL change stickers to remind me when I will need a OIL change...

The Chip repair sticker is right up there out of the way of your view so how would it be an annoyance to you unless you are bird watching as you drive...

The customers that I do happen to ask if they want the sticker on the inside of there windshield have NO problem with it. After I participated in this thread, 2 other customers called while driving on the way to work and said they just got hit. Remember, we want to repair the chips being as fresh as possible. That is as fresh as road kill. They got repaired that day and they are happy I have my sticker in the windshield...

Sometimes you need to put your personal thoughts aside think about making your work look better as using the stickers with our info as to thinking about what you like or dislike on your cars...
It is called PR.

I use the windshield stickers, and chip saver cards with my info on it. I ask the customer how many cars they have and give them one card per car, tell them to put them with their insurance card.

Pens are good but they get lost. I have them also that I use and I let the customer sign the paperwork with it and tell them to keep it. Most with say they have a desk full and give it back. I do give them away but not many.

I have had Pm's asking were to get the windshield stickers, Just ask you b-card supplier and go through their books to find them. They will find what you need.

Put your personal feelings aside and think about cheep adv. There is no damage putting a cheek sticker in a car..

Think outside of the box to advertise and make the customer feel warm and fuzzy. They are your bread and butter.

Guys if your customers are not treating a windshield damage as a priority then you have not done your job correctly. Windshield damage is and always should be a priority, sell the safety, sell the saving but whatever you do sell. Static cards, why not, great idea, make them red with a danger sign on them.
