I have been looking last night at scratch systems and looked at the LR system and it seems to work similar to what IPS is doing. Just working with the heat to pull the scratch out with out removing any glass.
I looked at JANVIL® GLASS REVIVE, and others that use Cerium Oxide discs.
Also what is your take on side door welt scratches. There is so many and so many different ways to restore glass back up, It can make your head spin.
Yesterday I had a lady that had a 5" light scratch in her side glass from something that fell on the glass, It looked like a scratch with from metal falling on the glass.
I use a White 3-M scotch type pad and some GT Liquid Diamond Polish stuff and rubbed it our with a drill in 4 minute's. I started on low speed till it was gone then went to high to polish it out and misting it with water to keep it cool.
5 min's of work and 25 bucks... She did not want her hubby to see the scratch. I asked her what it was worth to her. That way I did not feel guilty charging that price.
