Re: Wind + Light Tool Box, could equal danger!

Okay guys, when I posted this I was kinda of trying to get a little laugh out of y'all while also pointing out that the wind can cause a "LIGHT" box to get blown off the vehicle.
Now, common sense would tell you that if you're about to do a repair on a vehicle and it has an inch of dirt and grime plastered all over it, you're probably not going to put a fender cover, and your kit on the vehicle.
For EVERYONE that commented on the fact they would NEVER put a box on the hood, well what do you put on the hood & fender? So, when you're doing a repair, do you just allow your side, leg, arm, stomach, etc....to rub up against the vehicle? oh, is this not the same as putting your box on the hood? So, you don't touch the hood, fender, rooftop, doors, either right? because you know, your hands can rub dirt and dust into the paint as well.......
A scratch is a scratch....no matter if it came from you, a fender cover, or your box, keep that in mind when you decide to add your 2 cents about someones repair practices.
I have completed THOUSANDS of repairs over the last few years, and I have NEVER.....REPEAT.....NEVER had a Customer come up to me and say, "Hey, you scratched my hood/fender"!
I wonder sometimes when reading posts here, if "SOME" of the people that comment or post have their panties on too tight.....lighten up folks!
Remember what I originally said, "My light box", which means, my box weighs less than 2.5 lbs. and thats with EVERYTHING in it. We're not talking about a heavy 15+ lb. box!
