When going into a pressure cycle you should apply minimal thumb pressure. Delta Kits recommends five minutes on the first pressure cycle followed by a thirty second vacuum cycle. At the 1:38 mark on the video below you can see the technician applying thumb pressure.

the best advice i can give is dont stop trying it seems to me that starting off its slow but once you figure out what works for you it takes off just keep chippin away my friend
