Re: How do you dress
Good Morning! I have 3 polo shirts (3 button, pull over) with my logo on the left side. I alternate between that and 4 yellow gold, button down shirts. 2 long slever and 2 short sleve with logo above left breast pocket. I like the yellow shirts because of the pocket. I can slip my resin or towel for the uv coating in there for quick access. I also have my Delta and NWRA patch on the sleve that draws attention when out in the public. If Iam doing Tractor trailer rigs I wear nice jeans. Both typest of shirt go well with them. I also wear a scratch proof belt. I aslo have tan, navy blue and Black slacks by Dickie that I wear. If Iam posting flyers or visiting a business to generate leads or set up accounts , this looks more professional. The yellow shirt shows more dirt marks if I have a really dusty Headlight or if the car or truck is dirty when doing a WSR. My 2 green and Black shirts hide the dirt better and stays in my trousers when bending and reaching. I plan to order more, with the exception of getting them with a left breast pocket. I also have a few hats to match the shirts I wear with my logo on it. I also give my hats to people in the community that wear hats daily. They help advertize my business. I pass them out in the fall and in the spring. I have some friends that hunt, so I buy them orange or camaflouge hats with my logo. Thats walking advertizment. I also have a $6 fold down sitting stool ( 18-20 inches high) for working on headlights that are low to the ground. Unless you have a bad back, you would not understand the pain relief this stool gives me. I did a Hyundai HLR this morning, which was low to the ground, pain free. I spend only a few seconds extra moving the stool.

I always wear a suit, including a tie and expensive Italian shoes. I believe that appearance is very important!
Now, the above is when I attend a special event. When I do windshield repair I wear jeans or Carharts, a button-up shirt, an apron and a huge straw cowboy hat to protect my fair skin from the sun.

Try a Tilley Hat. They are the best and they are lifetime guaranteed.shepardh1 wrote:I always wear a suit, including a tie and expensive Italian shoes. I believe that appearance is very important!

Re: How do you dress
Shepardh1: I saw the photos of the WSR contest on the forum. I noticed the delta tech was wearing an apron. You also indicated you use an apron. Does that work better for you than just a shirt. I like to use my shirt pocket for my chems and dont have room for everything I want to put in it. I was thinking an apron with pockets may be what Iam looking for. When Iam trying to do a big rig, iam up and down on the ladder to retirve things I need, or put back. I purchased something similar to a fanny pack to put my bridge in when climbing onto th trucks so I dont drop it. That has helped especially when I need two bridges. It may also keep my shirt cleaner, and I may not have to change shirts as often during the day..

Candyman,
Where did you buy your folding seat? I was thinking of a garden center for one with wheels, probably not necessary?

usmc68, I use one of these. I straddle it when sitting. Top step is pretty wide (work's well for my wide behind). It also folds flat.http://www.walmart.com/ip/Rubbermaid-Tw ... y/15040377usmc68 wrote:Candyman,
