I must take this post slightly off line and thank you fireman for the job you do, my youngest son whilst still at university is also a fireman.

I hope and expect that you are using carbide burrs rather than fluted drill bits. Fluted bits are very hard to control and quite often wander.
What drill motor are you using? I switched to the Dremel Stylus cordless http://www.dremel.com/en-us/Tools/Pages ... x?pid=1100 and immediately had much more control and accuracy in my drilling.

My girlfriend is not here so now I'm waiting on her to get the pics from her camera to the computer from my first repair. Till then, here are some pics on a repair I did this morning. It may not seem like it to you, but I feel this is my best repair yet
