You can cure just half of the filled damage if you require so, just use a black tape over the area.

I do these as screenman said - Fill the smaller ones with pit filler and work on the larger one.
I'm pretty sure that you will vacuum more air out from the bigger break than the smaller ones.
If the others don't fill for some weird reason (they usually do) - check they are joined to the bigger one - if not, crack them into the main break.
If you are not comfortable doing it that way, just drill the pit filler you put in the smaller breaks and fix as normal.
I get quite a few of these - I charge for one repair if it's 2 impact points - I charge for two if it's 3 or 4.
Cheers,
Pommy

Good to know. Thanks for the replies. Its good to hear about the different ways to attack a complicated break. Out of curiosity, how often do these types show up?

Impossible to say - for me - one in ten I guess?
They really aren't a problem, they do come up pretty well - just be sure manage the customers expectations well and you will be fine.
...I did have a problem once, when I had three separate chips, all about one inch apart and not joined.
The screen cracked right across when fixing the third break - only happened once, but pretty pi$$ed off after doing two excellent repairs for the screen to be crapped
Cheers,
Pommy

Cracked ALL the way across? Unrepairable? No doubt that is due to stresses applied to the screen as a result of installation right?

Hi SS,
Yep - Cracked from left to right.
The three chips were drivers view, horizontal - about a 6 inch stretch from end to end.
On the last chip, it felt like the screen "buckled" in the middle.
Happened very fast ad just the once.
Have a great day
Cheers,
Pommy
