When they steer business away from me, because they take the phone calls from my customer to set it up with the insurance company, they make 100% of my money.

This unfair business practice in not true competition, but an uneven playing field. They have never dispatched a job to me. The insurance companies could choose to do business with another company like lynx and stop this problem.

Is the North Carolina law solving this problem?

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) oversees industries for problems such as this to allow capitalism to work by stopping monopolies, example is they busted up the Standard Oil. The FTC just approved the purchase of Metro PCS (5th largest cell phone company) by T-Mobile. Consumers now have one less option to get a cell phone, but at least the industry is not monopolized. The FTC stopped the meger of ATT and T-Mobile.

This auto glass industry only has 2 major insurance processors, that's close as it gets to a monopoly. Would the FTC allow Safelite to purchase Lynx? Who would object?

What industry Association is watching for this? Maybe we are close to getting No dispatches from Lynx and higher fees from Safelite? Why does Lynx not follow Safelite's business model?
