Re: Pics of Bad Repairs
I tried a Walmart kit (no drill) and it didn't come out good at all,so took it to a shop.. they said they couldn't work a previous fix (wouldn't even look at it!) Took to another shop..they damaged my window tint (visor) on the inside of my windshield, and the repair looks the same..only its drilled! Has a hole! Im guessing he tried...or maybe just drilled and then didn't apply resin or pitfiller??? What should I do now? I bought a better kit from 3m I was going to try to fill it tomorrow..before any dirt or moisture gets in. This type of bad service, high prices, and unprofessionalism..is what has me motivated to start my own auto glass repair..here in this area Odessa/midland Texas

You messed it up by trying to carry out a skilled job without the skills required, there that is the telling off done. Most glass replacement companies have very limited skills or the desire to carry out repairs, they are after all there to sell glass.
Find a repair only guy, but still many of them may not want to sort out a mess or be able to do so.
Why not send us a picture.
