Most of the dealers use a system like this as an add on when they get you in the "box" with the F/I manager(finance and insurance)Its a profit builder like vin etching /extended warranties, remember Rusty Jones??rust proofing ect.Its the same principle.Quote you one payment on the floor and get you in the "box" and try to pack the payment with the kitchen sink.With Insurance comp plans the impact will hopefully be minimal.

Sarquest,grouselab...your kidding right???? Ben is on the money..have you never been in the "box"..one of the big add ons at the buick dealer was the undercoating and teflon /scotchgaurding pkg for 850.00...the mechanics got an extra 25.00 per car on their lunch hr to do ..this all took place in the box as well waurentee pkgs ...they would tell cust if you add this on its penniess on your monthly payment

Well, this thread went from protective coating to something other! Not sure why.... but it happens. I would suggest this thread is closed to prevent any further damage.
