GlasWeldTech,

Yes, the Viper was a friends car on consignment at the dealership he works F&I at, we busted his chops about how nasty it looked in the showroom next to the brand new Z-06 Vettes. He finally caved in and let us do a complete refinement on his baby.

We used the G10 Farecla polish I mentioned in the email after wet sanding and compounding to get a deep mirror finish prior to the last step being our water based Soft Polish. Took some man hours but she looked "Bad to the Bone" once we completed the job. We tested it by pouring a bucket of muddy water over the paint and glass. We did not use the fancy lab coats, goggles, fan and the camera animated muddy water drop as seen on a certain t.v. commercial lol Good times.

The Black Super Ram is my pride and joy, she is for sale, lack of gas mileage is killing me. Think we will sell it to one of the contacts made at the SEMA Show last year, they wanted a truck ready to be shown for a low price, thinking $15,000.00 would be more than fair.

Nano.
What would the normal charge be for this service on a brand new car minus the wetsanding and compounding, Im talking just paint, and how long does it usually take on average.?
Does it help protect the paint from chips and scratches in the same way as it protects glass?
Thanks.
