Actually there is no sales pitch involved at all. I advertise for charging AC systems. I charge one price for just a simple AC charge and I charge another price for a complete discharge and Full AC charge. Obvioulsy a complete discharge is more money becuase more supplies are needed, ie: a recovery tank (because it is illegal to dump the R134 into the air). Also you are using more R134 for a complete charge afterwards. So most customers only need very little R134 to get their air at the coolest temp. again and it saves them $$$ for a charge.
I usually dont even ask customers if they want their AC charged. They see the sign, they usually ask about it and I tell them What I said above. It is a very simple process and lucrative. But remember DO NOT OVER FILL the AC systems, that can be a very costly mistake.

I'd like to know what's involved with ac recharge services? What do you charge? What's the profit margin? start up costs? What does it cost to get started? How do you get trained and market your services? This seems like an interesting niche market that may differentiate yourself from others out there? Thanks for the input!
