I had not surfed throught this forum before I joined it. I have since.
I realize now that this is a promotional site for a particular product. The post about removing swirls from headlights that was locked soon after it started.
Based on what I read It appeared that members were being censored who disagreed with the Original poster.
I too agreed with the members position about sharing information about products and techniques.
There too the members were accused of promoting a product someone had used.
To me that spoke volumes about the validity of any information one can find here.

There's nothing wrong with this site promoting a product, but when the product can't stand to be compared with other, like products, it turns the forum into a long running commercial.

Censorship errodes membership. I will keep my opinions to my self and leave this site to its censor.

Looks like you hit the nail on the head GlassStarz. After receiving several e-mails from regular forum members questioning Presko's motives I sent him an e-mail last night, politely asking him if he was affiliated with the company he promoted in every single post he made on this board. I asked that he fill out his profile and to be honest with the rest of the membership. Rather than reply to my e-mail he chose to make a post in the middle of the night making accusations about the way I run this board.

It's funny how people tend to show their true colors when you catch them in a lie. I guess I won't waste my time purchasing the ALR product after all. Thanks to all of you who alerted me to the fact that Presko was not legit.

Boy Howdy, did I open up a can of worms, or what! I kind of felt like he was an insider also. This fella who sells this crap on Ebay and YouTube is a Chicago "artist" ;) who has several websites in which he promotes ALR and his social agenda. I'm wondering if he is not "Presko" himself.
But Brent, in keeping with the title of this topic, it would be great if you actually did an analysis of this stuff and let us know your opinion, and what you think it is. I'm sure it could be helpful in the business, even if it did only remove slight surface oxidation. What do you say?
Thanks.

I'll give it some thought, but frankly I don't think most people care much about what I think as they don't believe I am capable of giving an unbiased opinion. That's a fair enough assessment I suppose, as my team and I have spent thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours researching different headlight restoration products to make sure we were selling the best, but I'm open minded enough to know that there is always something better just around the corner, and only a fool closes his mind to new ideas. On the other hand, just because something is new or different doesn't mean it is better, and I always admit when I have a dog in the fight.

It's not the $40 so much as the fact that I think our buddy Presko works for the company, and if that is the case I would prefer that they never see a dime of my money. He had the opportunity to bow out gracefully but chose instead to make a fool of himself. It seems that forum members who don't like the way I run things like to go out in flames.

I care what you think and I believe you can give an unbiased opinion. I see you as a pioneer and a leader in the industry and I think most of the members would value your opinion.

You do a great job in promoting WR and its related items on this forum Brent I doubt there is another MFG who would let folks talk about any product the way you do Thanks
It certainly isnt wrong to ask someone to identify themselves and to come on here pretending to be a customer of a product giving rave reviews when they are really from the company is pretty slimy and says a lot about the company and its products

That product from ebay is a very small bottle to me it seems like it is part transmission fluid with something in it.
It's like a oil film to my fingers also its got the smell of furnture polish but then Im not sure what it is but it does remove slight surface oxidation but you will have to rub very hard to remove some oxidation. I tested it on my ford van it had a very light film of oxidation it does give a shine cause of the oil that is in it. But what it cost for the shipping and for product it is not worth it I have never used it on my customers because of the results it gave me and time.
