Amen! There are rare occasions when I have to drill at the end of a troublesome leg, but I don't walk away from a windshield until it is strong. "Strong is #1, Pretty is #2."

We have a company over here that has shown in training to heat up whilst the pressure is on, not a lot of thought went in to that one, that is for sure.

yea i do agree with you but it is only used as a last resort heat that is

If you have to use heat then use a heat sink afterwards to make sure all is cooled down again, you can use it from inside as well. In fact on warm days when the glass has expanded the heat sink will open the break up slightly allowing for the resin to flow in faster sometimes, this depending on the style of break.
