You are on the wrong ledge there I think, for sure I was working on something I might even have discussed something but it was Delta through and through. I was only looking at utilizing a remote light fitting, so that you did not have to hold the light over cracks, Delta did the rest.

I am enthusiastic because I am using the tool here everyday, should I keep quiet. Since I joined this forum I have been open about what I use and how I do windshield repair, if I feel something is good I say, if I think it is not so good again I say.

Until you guys put your hands in your pocket and buy one you can only surmise at the benefits or disadvantages of it, not that I have found any.

Well, if you have brought up the idea, that is enough for someone to run with it with their own thoughts also...

I also do that with other jigs and fixtures that have been made in my other ventures and added my own twists and tweeks to make them more usefull to me or others....

Some things are verry useful and others are just novalties that look good but are more of a pain to handle.

Does it really matter?

It does to me, I would certainly not want any credit for anything I did not do.

I would have thought any tool that will place and hold your light over a crack without being near the crack is a good tool, likewise a tool that will hold the heatsink in place whilst you get your bridge ready is also a good tool. Did I mention helping keep rain and UV off, whilst also be useful for holding a flashlight in the darker evenings. Now if only it could make a cup of coffee as well!

The long crack light attachment is my favorite so far. It's always been challenging to get a long crack light positioned properly, especially on the curve of a windshield and even more difficult to cover multiple cracks going in different directions. Now I can use two lights at once if necessary and not worry about them falling off the glass, getting resin on the suction cups, or placing a suction cup on the curing film.

We don't have special attachments for everything yet, but it's very easy to adapt one of the existing attachments to hold a hair dryer (another favorite use of mine), fan, small parts tray, magnifying glass, etc. We're testing a number of other ideas as well, but I must confess I had not thought of it holding the heat exchanger until screenman mentioned it. I hope customers will continue coming up with new uses for the Scorpion.
