Sorry Robert, but I can't send private messages yet either (there is no reply button and it tells me I can't).

Forum members do not have full use of all board features until "after" they have posted a minimum of 10 posts. Features that you will not be able to use until you have a minimum of 10 posts include, but are not limited to, private messaging, e-mailing, posting photos, and viewing photos. This helps avoid spam on the board and protects the privacy of windshield repair forum members, so running up your post count with illegitimate posts will not be tolerated and may result in a ban from the board. You can read all of the guidelines by clicking the red link labeled forum guidelines at the top of the page.
Sorry Kgobin, but I have read the forum guidelines a couple times and did not see anything about the 10 post requirement. Am I missing it, is it somewhere else, or are new members informed when they join? :)

thanks

The 10 post minimum helps us control spam, catching thousands of inappropriate posts that our members should not have to deal with. A global announcement now appears at the top of each individual forum on this site to alert new members of this function of the board. We will also consider adding it to the forum guidelines to minimize confusion. Thanks for your input.

No problem, Korey has now updated the forum guidelines as well.

I was just challenging why the rule is there. I am not a lamb who just follows the rules without question until my head is chopped off for following them. then yes, I guess I am special if no one else asks why.

I really don't understand the logic here. I can read all the posts but the pictures are hidden until I make 10 posts?? The whole reason I joined was to see damage that can and can't be repaired. And then you say you'll ban me for illegitimate posts. What is that? How can I get my 10 posts to see pics then? Make up questions I don't really have?
All of us forum members have gone thru the process and submitted 10 posts.
Maybe you could petition the forum to make an exception in your case because you feel you are special .
