Hey CPR Yes there were lot of trucks,car,some RV.The back lot had about 75 to 100 trucks there with a lot of traffic coming in and leaving, It was a Flying J truck stop next to the freeway, lot of travelers gasing up and stop for food. It seemed like a possable gold mine but it didnt pan out. Tryed some flyers and cb radio for FREE WINDSHILED REPAIR did a few cash jobs.

Hi all I just Ordered a Kit From Delta Going to try this biz i live in a very small town so i decided to PRACTICE to learn an then take the kit on the road with me as i drive 48 states and ALL truck stops i have allready found out that if i had the equipment out here i would have made around 500.00 just in the last week so here i go I will keep all up to date as to weather truck stops are worth going to an i am sure that ill need help on here also

Welcome aboard Allen, you came to the best place on the net for windshield repair. Keep me posted on those truck stops, as a trucker yourself how do you deal with a rock chip ? Is it a priority to get fixed or do you guys just let it go.

HI CPR as a rule of thumb company drivers will not have a chip repaired but OWNER OPERATORS will [ cheaper than replacing] i am a company driver but ill do mine Got to practice you know
if the truck stop lets someone polish wheels thay will probably have no prob's letting you repair glass thay may also give you some biz get on CB CH 19 an ask that's what i am going to do

Hey Alan, If you ever go to Fort Pierce, FL, give me a shout I live 5 miles from there. We could go to the Flying J break out the kits and make some money.

i dont get to either of your states very often but when i do i will try to meet with you i try to stay in the mid west region i KNOW that i will need all the help that i can get got 1 ??? right now can inside cracks/batwing apx 1/2" long be repaired i havent had to read all the post yet but i am getting there

Do you mean on the inside of the windshield ? I dont see why not just curious.

Well, just got the magnetic signs for the van today. I'll be going to camp out at the Flying J on Sunday, I will keep you guys posted. Thanks for all your help on getting me there.

CPR don't forget there is a T/A just up the road also you may want to try it
