I'm gonna be useing a full size dodge cargo van but I will also eventually be carrying P.D.R. stuff too as well as the possibility of getting into micro spot repair which will require an air compressor + I like the idea of driveing a rolling advertiseing billboard thats free.

Toab.

What experience do you have at PDR I would sugest you look very hard at where you get your training etc try Topgun. PDR bares very little in common with bodyshop repair. Apart from you might know some of the access points etc. Believe me it took about 2 years of hard practise before I become really comfortable with it. There are a lot of good guys out there doing PDR, do your market research well, the word is the states is flooded with PDR men. Spend some time on http://www.doording.com As for paintwork check your state regulations many states are cutting down on allowing outside painting and very few people will let you spray in their premises, due to health and safety regs etc.
Having said all this good luck with your many ventures. I would suggest you get one up and running properly and be a master of it before you add the next one.
P.S try interior repair it runs well with WSR.

Northidahotim,

I use a syringe for accurate resin measuring and I can use the syringe to deliver the resin to the glass in the injector without having the resin drip and run in the threads of the injector. The syringes I use come with a blunt needle so you don't stick yourself.

The polishing wheel (adapted to your dremel) is used in conjunction with pit-polish, to finish off a repair with professional results. The pit-polish I get from delta must be good stuff because I use a paper towel to buff the repair (per Delta methods) and it comes out looking like new glass when done.

Thanks screenman. when I was abody man I worked under an old school quality repair style .Remember lead filler and metal finishing dents? without filler?...Now I used to work on some hail damage and we used to get most of the dents up in the paint without any filler and just a little sufacer before we painted the vehicle so I am quite familliar with dent pushing, crowns, highs and lows in metal.I have purchased the new 5 part dvd series that PDQ has out and alot of the concepts are quite similar but with added finess. Some of the concepts that are a little different I have been applying to this old van with success.I am just alittle slower than a veteran PDR guy thats all. However it will be windshield repair first and PDR second to help fill in the possible dry spots in my bizz.

On top of that, why do you need to make bullseyes? BTW, my username says it all :P Since I spend more time doing windshield replacements vice repairs, this is a good forum for learning.
