Hey Dgarza,
I know it seams that way to you but it really isn't. When I used to live in texas I did nothing but insurance work. And you are right many people that are used to having wsr done for free won't get it done now if they have to pay for it out of their pocket. All is not lost though, when you start talking to people about wsr start looking for fleet work. No I am not talking about car rental companies or dealerships. I mean like any company that has company vehicles.
I personaly found that they pay cash and pay good prices plus they are actualy easyer to sell then insurance work. Plus the other bonus is they most of the time will have multiple vehicles for you to do. Just think about it....

I second that Coitster, we are doing a fair amt of fleet work and while it can be more time consuming to ge the work when you do get it your travel time is done except for call backs. We schedule a return trip monthly or weekly as needed. We also reduce the cost per shield a little as an insenitive. Line me up 10 or 20 trucks ANYTIME Scott
My best mentor one said " be fair with your priceing but never too low, be honest with your customer/competition, when the day is done be sure you have done "good works", and always leave something of value on the barganing table!!
