I would vote for Coitster but I don't know if he has been here the past year either?

Hi all, I too have been away from the Forum for a while. I have 2 nominations. First Screenman, a wealth of knowledge, willing to help, strong of opinion, and works in a harsh environment. Plus he help other techs get a start in the Wonderfull World of WSR.

My other one would be Yvan(reparebrise). He too is a wealth of knowledge, and having personnaly met him twice, I can say the he has the industry at heart. Unfortunate circumstances turned him away from this board, but in order to continue sharing he started his own forum(some of you are cross-over members). Like Screenman he has helped others get in the trade, he has over 30 technicians working with him as franchises or employees, has created his own injector and base, his own resins, and he has yet to stop.

May the best tech win

PS. it would be nice now that Jeff has moved on for Delta to throw the hatchet in the wastepaper bin and allow him back, I think you know where to find him....

Well everyone, I have just sent in my nomination for the Mobile Tech Windshield Repair Person of the Year. I based my nomination on the fact that Graham Watson "Screenman" received the most votes here on the forum.

Congratulations Graham! I hope you win the award, but even if you don't, you have obviously been very helpful to many here on the windshield repair forum. Your contributions to the industry are greatly appreciated by myself and many others.

If any of the rest of you would like to send in a vote for Graham or nominate someone else, I would encourage you to fax your nomination/vote to 727-531-7850 by 12/31/07.

Good Luck Graham!

I would like to thank those that voted for me it is very kind of those involved. I am passionate about windshield repair and this forum helps in getting the message across and for that I would like to thank Delta. The standards of WSR worldwide is nowhere near that what most of us on here achieve on a daily basis. My aim for 2008 is to enlighten the general public and insurance companies who have been paying out money for years on very fourth rate repairs exactly what they should be getting. Over here we have maybe 90% of kits without a dryout system used by techs that do not know that moisture and premature curing are the reason behind many poor quality repairs, this is something I want to rectify. I know on this forum there are many more honest hard working people who feel the same way.

Lets get the standards and prices up where they should be.

NOBODY EVER REGRETS BUYING QUALITY. This applies to both service and products. Price is certainly not everything.

Screenman, I'm sorry you could not make it across the pond to accept it in person, but congratulations on winning the Mobile Tech Windshield Repair Person of the Year award.
