Starstuck, I did not know that you ran the forum to were you say the Thread should be closed. I am glad it is the NO drill way or the highway in doing better repairs.
The thread will moreless close or slow down when everyone stops posting on the thread. If you keep adding fuel to the thread it will keep going on and on.

As I posted earlier I use the round tip bur as a powered scribe, I do not make the pit larger and I do not make it deeper but I sure make it cleaner. Now the question is would you lot who do not drill consider this drilling, personaly I do not I do find I make a better job of roughing any smooth surfaces etc. when using this method.

You have asked how stone chip repairs(not cracks) can be repaired without drilling and I have extended an offer to discuss it with you. Not sure with your curiostity on this topic why you have not taken me up on it. The offer still stands should you desire.
