Gas prices in the New Orleans area has dropped (along with my jaw) to $1.79/gallon. Despite the fact that 30% of the US oil is drilled and refined in this area, I'm not holding my breath this price will last very long.

Historically, the price of gas has been lowered before every presidential election (and usually remains low for several months after the new president takes office). Why? I could guess, but the truth is I don't have a clue. Maybe some others on the forum know more about this than I do. If so, please share your opinion.

Hey you guy???? you better start stock pilling gas OPEC is cutting production on gas and guess what the price will be increasing??????????????--Screenman I can get a pint of guiness for approx $3.00 and a burger -fries-coke for $5.00 in Boston So how much is a pint and a burger and fries plus a coke in the UK. I was in the hotel trade in the UK working at free house ie Bass ales Greenall Whitley beers- Newcastle Brown-Screenman who is your local brewary??

Guiness would be $5 burger etc.$7 at Burger King, mind you may not want to eat it. Fuel now down to$7 Windscreen repair up to $80 but average is $55
