For the signs I just typed it out in word the way I wanted it, took it to the printer and had him do it from that. With that kind of advertising it has to be plain and easy to read. Ths sides are 3 x 2 feet and the back door is 18 x 24, cost me 90 $ for all.
I will post a picture if Jeff gives me the green light. When I go to the stops I just drive around the lot a few times real slow and if no one flags me down I park right near the c-store so they all see me. Then get on the cb every 20 min or so and just ask if any drivers need their windshields repaired. When they ask how much tell them, this way they all hear it.
I took a while to figure out how much they will spend but 25-30 bucks can add up quick when there are 150 or so trucks parked there. Once they see you doing repairs you will draw a small crowd and gain their trust. My advice is go do it and dony give up if it does not workout the first time, I had to spend three 1/2 days to make it work.
