Wow...today's pretty quiet. Where'd everybody went?

OK, here's my story. Somehow, news spread that I'm doing wsr in my neighborhood so on Sunday, a friend of mine whom I hardly see came to me and ask if I do wsr and I said yeah. He showed me the crack and he said it was really small about 2 weeks ago when it happened and now, it spread to about 3 inches in diameter. When I took a closer look and tried to use my thumb and gently press the star legs, the crack was actually 5" in diameter. I told him that it may crack out since it's unstable and the look will not be invisible. I told him the repair will help stabilize the crack and preventing it from further damage. So i went ahead and proceed with the repair. The legs was kinda long and I keep thinking should I drill or not to stop the legs from cracking out. It was 10pm and I didn't feel like drilling so i went ahead and repaired it using a few vacuum and pressure cycles. The repair went great.

I then showed him the repaired crack and his words were, "#@!#$, where the #@!@#$ is the crack? I showed to the other group of guys there and it took them awhile to find the crack. Before I did the repair, he kept insisting me that super glue should help stop the crack. i laughed and explained to him that it only makes it worst. Overall, the guys were amazed. They never saw how a good wsr outcome looks like. Some said they don't believe in it because they saw repairs that look awful. I went ahead and billed my friend for a case of beer. :D

I think there's alot of people out there that still don't believe in wsr. Either they believe in it, or they stop believing in it after a shoddy repair they had.
