Hello all!!
I finished all the training and setup all the necessary materials to get started. Right now, I'm just very confused about all the permits and registration for a business. I know it's different in every state. Just wanted to know if ya'll can give me a brief outline of what to need to get started on your wsr.
Here's the list I have:
1. Register my Trade Name.
2. Register for Local Sales Tax.
3. Register for Occupational License.
4. Register for State Sales Tax.
5. Register for Federal Taxes??
6. Register for RLI insurance.
7. Register for ACT (still deciding).
Thanks All!!

1. Register my Trade Name.

2. Register for Local Sales Tax.
very few places tax labor probably not needed
3. Register for Occupational License.
depends if your going to be mobile or in a fixxed location fixxed needs licence and permit mobile in most places dont and since mobile generally means you go to several different towns again un needed
4. Register for State Sales Tax.
see number 2
5. Register for Federal Taxes??
If you have employees you need to set up a withholding account otherwise treat it as self employment follow you accountants advice
6. Register for RLI insurance.
cheap and well worth it
7. Register for ACT (still deciding).
sure simplifies things
Me I got insurance a buisness licence and joined ACT and went to work
I leave the rest of the stuff to the HR Block chick $175 yr (granted my little state has no special licences etc)
