New to the business here in Philadelphia, PA, and have been plowing through a ton of posts here on the forum......some have definitely been helpful..
My basic situation will be basically this....I'll be a private technician under American Glass Resources in Charlotte, NC (who does have a Tax ID #, and a business license), and I'll do all of my filing through them, and won't have to get a business license or Tax ID #. (I'll also be paying them $10 per invoice...)
Now that I've done research on DataTranz, and GlassComp, I'm finding that there is a much better (and cheaper) way to go about doing all of this..... My only question is, will I need to get a personal business license (and Tax ID#) in order to do EDI through some of these software companies? If so, how much $ for a license, and Tax ID#? And how do I go about obtaining the license? Different in every state?
Any help would be much appreciated!
