Windshield Repair Forum

For those of you in a cold climate like me (Wisconsin), what month does business start to slow down? This will be my first full year in business and I never had to deal with winter before!

Actually picks up for me the more gravel they spread the more work I get. When its nice they dont think much about the chip in thier windshield but everyone around here knows when its cold outside the car and warm inside the tend to crack so they are more eager to get them fixed.

I get a little busier around now, due to marketing the 'fear factor'... getting people to understand how those little stars can become big cracks when they turn on the defrost.

I start to see a decrease in work just before Christmas lasting until most of the snow is gone. For me, another sign would be frost and moving our clocks back one hour.
