My wife and I are giving a big thanks to Delta for the great training day yesterday in Houston! Thanks Jeremiah WSR for the marketing help! Today my wife did her first 2 chip insurance job!
It was great to see a bunch of you all from the forum and if you didn't get to put my name to a face I was the one with the 2 boys.
Bad news is my wife doesn't want to do any more work until I get her a shiny new Delta tool kit!

great training day in Houston

I concur with Scratchy!! I also had a terrific time with the training class
I really appreciate the additional time Jeremiah spent on his presentation. He was so "into" it that he lost track of time and stayed way beyond the appointed time

I for one wanted to soak up anything he had to say, so I was very happy that he attended.
Matt and Jeff, I really really enjoyed your helpful and humorous presence. 8)
I highly encourage anyone that is just starting out to attend the next one. I noticed that several people there including myself were confused about whether the chip was filled or not prior to coming,

and I now realize how much time and stress I wasted on continuing to work on a finished chip!!, thinking it hadn't filled
I can't leave out thanking Greybeard for putting up with me all day! You also were a great source of help, and I hope to get together with you sometime soon.

I want to thank Matt, Jeff, and Brian for all the infomation. i came away from this class with all the right stuff. The man that tought me windshield repair has been in busniess for many years. i found out several thing i was doing wrong. Thanks to Jeff and Matt. I now know how to do a repair correctly. I'm sorry i had to leave, but i have to get to the air port for my flight back to midland that was delayed 2 hours. if i had know i would have stayed. apparently the delay originated in midland with CAF aircraft that had crashed on take off which shut down the airport for 3 hours. the good thing all on board of the aircraft walked away with minor injuries. If ever any of you come to midland look me up Advantage Windshield Repair 432-528-2827 . again thanks for everything. good luck to all in your adventure in the WSR world. keep in touch thanks rosco

Thanks to everyone who came even though I was working I had a great time. It wasa good group of people. The time on Marketing/Sales was a grat deal longer than expected but I thought it went smoother to let people ask questions at the end of each section. I hadn't alloted time for that in my notes for the seminar. I hope all you who came are going to be able to use the info and make it profitable for you. There were several people who stayed very late and we did finish the fleet and sales objections portion of it. We are thinking of extending the time of the next training day to something other than just 2 hours of Marketing help.
Well, hope to see more of everyone else at the next training day!

I, too, had a great time at the training class and enjoyed meeting everyone. I was able to put faces to some of the names I have seen on the forum, such as Scratchy, Sally, and Greybeard. I was one of the ones who stayed to the very end trying to absorb as much as possible.
Thanks to Matt and Jeff for puting on such a great class. Also, thanks to Brian for the presentation on marketing and let's not forget Randall, who was also there the entire time with a lot of good information.
Oh yeah, lunch was great too!
Thank you Delta Kits,

After a nine hour trip I was optimistic about windshield repair, but I had spent several hundred dollars on a kit . and was determined to learn how to repair a windshield.Well that was six months ago Thanks delta kits and all the guys at the Austin Tx. seminar I now supplement my income very well and have plans in the future to do this full time . If you plan on staying in this business. I recomend going to a training seminar.
