Having issues with Delta?

Anyone else having issues with Delta? They cant seem to get anything right when it comes to me. They send me packages with someone else's name on it, but with my business name. Overnight packages take 3 days to arrive.

Just wondering if this is something normal that i should learn to deal with.

First of all, I apologize for the delay in your overnight package.

It was sent out on Tuesday, as promised, for overnight delivery. According to UPS, it was delayed at their hub for one day, so it was set for delivery on Friday. On Friday, no one was there to pick up, so they are rescheduling for today.

Again, I apologize for that, but once the package leaves our warehouse, we have no control over whether UPS messes up or not. I'm sure you understand that.

What we WILL do, obviously, is refund your entire shipping amount and apologize for the error.

Regarding packages with a different contact name at your company. This was addressed previously.

I understand delays, etc. However, Delta Kits is batting 1000 right now as far as errors, and since i am in the growing phase of my business, i need to be sure that i made the right choice by choosing Delta as my supplier.

The thread wasn't meant as a flame, but an open question to other members as i need input regarding the reliability of Delta.

Thanks.

I'm sure others will jump in and let you know what to expect from us.

Again though, not meant to be argumentative, but, when you order on Tuesday, and less than one hour later that package is out of here on it's way to you, explain to me what we could have done differently?

Not use UPS?

They are the most reliable domestic shipper around, and EVERY shipper makes mistakes.

Like I said, UPS made a mistake, we are refunding you your entire shipping amount, and your package (in YOUR name), is showing up today. If you think that is batting 1000 against us, that's certainly your right.

Then erase this thread, I apologize.

Bad day already, car stolen with all my WSR items inside except my kit which i bring in at night due to the cold.

I'm sorry to hear about your car, that's horrible!

Again, no reason to erase the thread, you have valid reasons to be upset. No matter what, when someone promises me that a shipment I order will be there, i'm mad when it's not, so I completely understand. We just need to make sure we make it as right as we can.

I order supplies from Delta and another supplier. I've had things overnighted without a problem, but I also try to order before supplies run out, that way I can pay less for shipping and if it takes an extra day thats OK. Sorry about your car and tools hope you were insured.

I applaud your efforts Delta kits. As you indicate, UPS fumbled--but the source of the post was not aware of that.

My sympathies with Velox--it certainly was a bad day for you. Please let us in the forum know how the theft incident results. Keeping our fingers crossed for you.

As many packages as UPS deals with on a daily basis, errors are bound to occur. I've had problems with shipments arriving late from items I've purchased over the years.

I've never had a problem with any "Delta Kit's" orders, but it's very refreshing to know that they will do everything possible to make it better if it does. Many companies don't care about "customer satisfaction."

Velox, sorry to hear about your car being stolen. Hopefully they'll recover it soon. Glad to hear that your kit wasn't in it.
